In a time when nearly anyone can take a good photo
.
Many people are good and feel comfortable in this medium. It is also
a time of ever changing "formats" for taking and storing photos. I.E.
""I'll have to take everything and transfer it from floppy to disc".
How long will the current format last? Paper quality? Ink Quality?
If printed how long will the photos last? In a consumer socity formats
will continue to change. Manufactures want/need you to believe
newer is better, clearer. Again and again everything you store in any
way will become obsolete, even lost. Your grandchildren will look at
disc and say, "I think they used to store informatiom on these things".
Think 78r.p.m. and L.P.s, 8 tracks and more recently floppy disc.
Does your new computer even have a port for "Floppy"?
Your greatgrandchildren will probably have their info downloaded
directly into their brains! Portraits have been around for thousands
of years. we know what we do about the most primitive cultures
because of the "ART" they left behind. Everyone you love is that important!
